CHURCH OF MAE DE DEUS AT SALIGAO : It was built in 1873. The church enshrines the miraculous statue of Mae de Deus (Mother of God) which was brought from the ruins of the convent of Mae de Deus in Old Goa. The church is both a historically and architecturally important heritage building in Goa, India. This beautiful church is a finest example of the Gothic style of architecture.

CORJUEM FORT: Situated at a distance of 4 kilometers from the village of Aldona on the Island of Corjuem is the Corjuem fort. It was constructed in the year 1551. The fort  gives a good view of the surrounding river and land. It was more like a solitary outpost. ALDONA BRIDGE: The view of this bridge is a splendid site. This was the first of its kind Cable Stayed Bridge in Goa that connects Aldona and the Corjuem Villages. It was built by the State Infrastructure Development Corporation of Goa. This new bridge completed in the year 2004 is quite unique and the first of its kind in Goa. POMBURPA SPRING: This spring happens to be one of the famous springs in Goa. Many locals as well as foreign tourists come here for a bath as the spring waters is said to be medicinal. The place has been built up now with cement and stones. MAHALSA: The deity was housed this temple at an ancient shrine in village of Verna which is now the site of an industrial estate. This beautiful temple was also marked for destruction by the Portuguese around 1543 but before the actual demolition could take place the idol of the deity was smuggled away across the river by devotees, to the safer locale of Mardol.

ABYSS AQUARIUM IN VERNA:India's first non-governmental financed sea water aquarium project 'Abyss the Under World' in Verna. The aquarium contains 55 different types of fishes and accumulates 1,000 litres of water. Attached to the aquarium is a filtration plant which avoids the need to change the sea water.
